Photojournalism

Even though I’ve never taken a formal photography course, through journalism I’ve learned how to capture poignant images. I’ve learned how to think visually, how to come up with photo and graphic ideas that complement a story, and I have gained experience in turning my vision into reality. Below you can see a couple of my ideas – the props and set up – before they turn into the final photo used in print.
